FCSO Deputies Arrests Subject For Criminal Domestic Violence
SUBJECT: Van Fredrick Jackson, age 46, of 3061 Cobblestone Street, Florence, SC 29506-8547 was arrested by Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on October 15, 2014 and charged with Criminal Domestic Violence, High and Aggravated (S.C. Code Section 16-25-065), Pointing and Presenting a Firearm (S.C. Code Section 16-23-410) and Unlawful Use of a Telephone (S.C. Code Section 16-17-430(A)). NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Van Fredrick Jackson on October 15, 2014 and charged him with Criminal Domestic Violence, High and Aggravated, Pointing and Presenting a Firearm and Unlawful Use of a Telephone. According to Investigators, on October 14, 2014 Jackson is alleged to have been involved in a verbal altercation with the victim at 3061 Cobblestone Street, Florence, SC. During the altercation, Jackson is alleged to have presented a firearm while making verbal threats to the victim, causing the victim to be in fear for her safety. In addition, Investigators allege that Jackson sent a threatening text message to the victim.
Jackson will likely appear before a Florence County Magistrate later today for a bond hearing.
