FCSO Arrests 3 In Narcotics Bust

SUBJECT: Jeff McFadden, III, age 36, of 609 Oak Street, Johnsonville, SC 29555 was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on November 13, 2014 and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine (S.C. SUBJECT: Jaron Trent McFadden, age 26, of 609 Oates Street, Johnsonville, SC 29555 was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on November 13, 2014 and charged with Trafficking Heroin (S.C. Code Section 44-53-370(e)(3)) and Manufacturing and Possession of Controlled Substances With Intent to Distribute (third offense) (S.C. Code Section 44-53-370(b)(2)). SUBJECT: Nicholas Wilson, age 28, of 421 ½ Third Avenue, Pamplico, SC 29583 was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on November 13, 2014 and charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (S.C. Code Section 44-53-370(d)(2)). See FCSO Booking Website for additional information.

NARRATIVE: Specially trained narcotics investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 609 Oats Street in Johnsonville, SC on November 13, 2014 and arrested three for possession of controlled substances. Jeff McFadden, III was charged by Investigators with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine. Jaron Trent McFadden was charged with Trafficking Heroin and Manufacturing and Possession of Controlled Substances (third offense). Nicholas Wilson was charged with Possession of Controlled Substances (heroin).

At the residence, Investigators seized 8 grams of heroin, 16.2 grams of crack cocaine. In addition, Investigators seized three firearms, a vehicle and over $2200.00 in U.S. currency believed to be used to facilitate the illegal activity.

The issuance of the search warrant was a result of a month’s long investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in the Johnsonville area of Florence County as well as citizen complaints. The investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are possible.
