FCSO MAKES ARRESTS IN TIMMOMSVILLE SHOOTING

SUBJECT: Patrick Treyvon Jenkins, age 17, of 114 West Market Street, Timmonsville, SC 29161 was arrested and charged by Florence County Sheriff’s Office with Attempted Murder (S.C. Code Section 16-03-029). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.

NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two suspects in connection with the June 5, 2015 shooting in Timmonsville, SC. According to Investigators, Patrick Treyvon Jenkins and Davon William Jenkins are alleged to have shot the victim at 416 East Main Street in Timmonsville, SC shortly after noon that day. The victim was transported from the scene of the shooting to an area hospital for medical treatment. No additional information on the condition of the victim is available at this time.

The incident, which occurred in the early afternoon on Friday, June 5, 2015 resulted in an extensive manhunt for the suspects in the Timmonsville area. Based on information developed at the scene and through the investigation, Investigators obtained arrest warrants for both suspects later that day. The suspects were arrested by officers with the Rock Hill Police Department and the South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) in Rock Hill, SC on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Both suspects were transported by FCSO to the Florence County Detention Center today.

The suspects will appear before a Florence County Magistrate for an explanation of the charges against them. Both will remain at the Florence County Detention Center until a bond hearing can be scheduled before a circuit court judge.
