MISSING 10 YEAR OLD LOCATED
Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have located missing 10 year old, Gretchen Madison Braxton alive and well. Gretchen was reported missing from her Effingham, SC residence late yesterday, having last been seen at approximately 3:00 PM yesterday in the company of her two cousins, Christian Cheyenne Courtney, age 21 and Miranda Leigh Courtney, age 17. As a part of their investigation, FCSO investigators placed Gretchen in the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as missing.
Gretchen was discovered early this morning alone in a motel room in Spartanburg, SC, after which, officers with the Spartanburg Police Department notified FCSO that she had been located. Gretchen has since been reunited with family members.
Spartanburg Police are still looking for Christian Cheyenne Courtney and Miranda Leigh Courtney.
