FCSO Chosen To Coordinate 12th Circuit LEN

On August 13, 2015 Florence County Sheriff’s Office was reelected as the coordinating agency for the 12th Circuit Law Enforcement Network (LEN) for the 2016 through 2018 term at a meeting of all participating law enforcement agencies in Florence and Marion Counties. This is the fourth consecutive time FCSO has been elected by member agencies to a two year term as coordinating agency.

The Law Enforcement Network is sponsored by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety, which assists local law enforcement agencies in the various judicial circuits in implementing traffic safety programs such as “Target Zero”, “Buckle Up South Carolina”, “SC Sober or Slammer”, “Be Safe, Be Seen” as well as traffic safety checkpoints.

“We appreciate the confidence the other agencies in the 12th Circuit LEN have in FCSO to allow us to continue to coordinate LEN activities into the future,” Sheriff Kenney Boone stated.
