FCSO INVESTIGATES DISCOVERY OF BODIES
Florence County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the discovery of two human remains found earlier today at a residence located at 2205 Ashford Drive, Effingham, SC. FCSO was notified of the discovery by a passerby. Preliminary indications are that the remains have been in the residence for some time. Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken has ordered that the bodies be sent for forensic autopsy at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Coroner Von Lutcken is not releasing the identity of the deceased pending notification of the next of kin.
