MURDER SUSPECT IN CUSTODY
Lawrence Sean Denuncio, age 31, of 508 Walnut Street, Florence, SC wanted by FCSO in connection with the shooting death of Marvin Chandler has been captured in the State of New York. Denuncio is alleged to have shot and killed Chandler on Jeffords Street in Florence County on February 27, 2017. According to Investigators, Denuncio was taken into custody earlier today in Albany, New York by agents with the U.S. Marshals Service, New York/New Jersey Fugitive Taskforce-Albany Division, New York State Police and Albany Police Department, all working in conjunction with FCSO Deputies and the U.S. Marshals Service Task Force, Florence Division.
Also taken into custody today along with Denuncio was Joyce Elizabeth Wilson, age 38, of 637 South Jeffords Street, Florence, SC who has been charged with Obstruction of Justice. According to FCSO Investigators, Wilson is alleged to have witnesses the altercation allegedly leading to the murder of Chandler and allegedly left Florence with Denuncio after the murder to avoid arrest.
Denuncio and Wilson will be returned to Florence County to face the charges once the extradition process is completed. At that time, they will appear before a Circuit Court Judge for consideration of any bond.
