FCSO ARRESTS SUSPECT IN TIMMONSVILLE HOMICIDES
SUSPECT: Antwain Lashawn Adams, age 35, of 214 Chappel Drive, Bishopville, SC 29010 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office today and charged with three counts of Murder (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-010) and two counts of Attempted Murder (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-029). See FCSO Booking Website for additional information.
NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Antwain Lashawn Adams in connection with the shooting death of three in Timmonsville, SC earlier today. According to Investigators, Adams is alleged to have entered the home of the victims on Chaney Grove Road with a firearm, without permission and with the intent to kill. Florence County Coroner, Keith Von Lutcken has ordered autopsies of the deceased victims, whom he has identified as 39 year old Cheresse Lutricia Jackson and her two minor daughters. Two other victims are being treated for injuries resulting from gunshot wounds. No additional information on the condition of these victims is available at this time.
Adams is being held at the Florence County Detention Center pending a bond hearing before a Circuit Court Judge.
