FCSO MAKES ARREST IN STABBING INCIDENT
SUBJECT: Sevren Dasean Godbolt, age 26, of 1011 Sopkin Avenue, Florence, SC was arrested by deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 2, 2019 and was charged with Attempted Murder (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-029). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
NARRATIVE: Deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Raceway Convenience Store located on West Lucas Street on April 2, 2019 at approximately 8:04 PM for a report of a stabbing incident. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim on the ground with multiple lacerations. According to witnesses, the incident occurred at a nearby motel. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment for multiple stab wounds. No information on the condition of the victim is available at this time.
Shortly after the incident, deputies arrested Sevren Dasean Godbolt and charged him with Attempted Murder. Godbolt will be held at the Florence County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
