OPERATION TAKE DOWN STAY DOWN NETS FIVE ON DRUG DISTRIBUTION CHARGES
SUBJECT: Luke McIver Douglas, age 22, of 749 Deer Lane, Pamplico, SC 29538 was arrested on April 18, 2019 by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of Distribution of Narcotics (S.C. SUBJECT: Kristopher Larod Fleming, age 22, of 464 East 6 Avenue, Apartment 2H, Pamplico, SC 29583 was arrested on April 18, 2019 by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of Distribution of Narcotics (S.C. SUBJECT: Damion Sylvester Davis, age 24, of 1466 South Pamplico Highway, Pamplico, SC 29583 was arrested on April 18, 2019 by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with two counts of Distribution of Narcotics (S.C. SUBJECT: Tyran Devonte Grayson, age 26, of 422 East 3rd Avenue, Pamplico, SC 29583 was arrested on April 18, 2019 by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Narcotics within Proximity of a School (S.C. NARRATIVE: A three month undercover operation conducted by specially trained Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office netted 5 suspected drug dealers operating in the Pamplico area of Florence County. In response to citizen complaints and named “Operation Take Down Stay Down,” Investigators culminated in the arrest of the suspects with simultaneously executed raids on April 18, 2019. FCSO SWAT and SRT assisted in the operation.
In addition to the arrests, a quantity of narcotics, edibles made with narcotics and currency was seized. All suspects were released on personal recognizance bonds on April 18, 2019 with the exception of Kristopher Larod Fleming, who is being held at the Florence County Detention Center on a pre-existing General Sessions Bench Warrant.
“We welcome the involvement and participation of citizens in these cases,” Sheriff Kenney Boone stated. “You are our eyes and ears and we will respond with operations like this to help make your communities safer.”
