SUBJECT: Sammy Earl Ramu, age 27, of 2453 Hanna Lake Road, Lot 20, Johnsonville, SC 29555, was arrested by Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on April 26, 2019 and charged with one count of Trafficking in Heroin (S.C. Code Ann. 44-53-370(e)(3)(a)(1)) and one count of Distribution of Methamphetamine (S.C. Code Ann 44-53-375(B)(2)). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
NARRATIVE: As a part of an ongoing undercover narcotics investigation, specially trained Narcotics Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sammy Earl Ramu of Johnsonville, SC on April 26, 2019 and charged him with Trafficking in Heroin and Distribution of Methamphetamine. Investigators located a quantity of heroin during a search of the premises. Investigators also seized an amount of U.S. currency.
Ramu was released from the Florence County Detention Center on a $23,000.00 surety bond.
