SUSPECT CHARGED IN SANDPIT ROAD MURDER
SUBJECT: Justin Ray Brewer, age 21, of 443 Hibiscus Road, Lamar, SC was arrested on June 4, 2019 by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Murder (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-010). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Justin Ray Brewer of Lamar, SC and charged him with the April 4, 2019 murder of Raleigh Jett on Sandpit Road in Quinby, SC. According to Investigators, Brewer is alleged to have shot Jett at his residence resulting in his death.
Brewer was arrested earlier today on Sparkleberry Lane, Florence, SC by deputies with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Division and the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force. Brewer will be held at the Florence County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing before a Circuit Court Judge.
