FCSO ARRESTS ASSAULT SUSPECT
SUBJECT: Kelvin Anderson Mitchell, age 46, of 3604 East King Henry Drive, Florence, SC 29506 was arrested on August 13, 2019 by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Assault and Battery (second degree) (S.C. NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kelvin Anderson Mitchell on August 13, 2019 and charged him with one count of Assault and Battery (second degree). According to Investigators, on or about August 6, 2019 at his residence Mitchell is alleged to have fondled the private parts of a female victim. Mitchell was released from the Florence County Detention Center on a $5000.00 surety bond.
Under South Carolina law, Assault and Battery (second degree) is a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $2500.00 or imprisonment for not more than three years, or both.
