SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL SEXUAL CONDUCT WITH MINORS
SUBJECT: John David Marsh, age 37, of 327 Whisonant Road, Blacksburg, SC 29702 was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on September 9, 2019 and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor (First Degree) (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-655(A)), Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor (Second Degree) (victim 11 to 14 years of age) (S.C. Code Ann. 16-03-655(B)(1)), two counts of Buggery (S.C. Code Ann. 16-15-120) and one count of Incest (S.C. Code Ann. 16-15-020). See FCSO Booking Website for additional details.
NARRATIVE: FCSO Investigators arrested John David Marsh on September 9, 2019 and charged him with two counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct With a Minor, two counts of Buggery and one count of Incest. According to Investigators, between the dates of August 1, 2014 through October 1, 2016 Marsh is alleged to have sexually molested two children under the age of fourteen (14) years on multiple occasions in Florence County. Investigators allege that one child was eight (8) years old when the abuse began. Investigators further allege that the victims are related to the suspect.
Marsh is being held at the Florence County Detention Center. A Florence County Magistrate denied Marsh a bond yesterday.
