ARMED ROBBER SUSPECT FROM DOLLAR GENERAL STORE
Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office need your help in identifying an armed robbery suspect. At approximately 9:55 AM today, an armed suspect, wearing a blue and white hoodie and a mask, entered the Dollar General Store on U.S. Highway 52 near Effingham, SC and demanded money from the store clerk at gunpoint. The suspect left the store with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the incident.
Video surveillance cameras in the store captured images of the suspect, which are attached. Investigators ask that anyone with knowledge or information regarding the identity or location of the suspect contact FCSO at (843) 665-2121, ext. 360, Crime Stoppers of the Pee Dee at 1-888-CRIME-SC or “Submit-A-Tip” on the FCSO free app for I-phone or Android telephones. You do not have to reveal your identity to leave information.
