FCSO MAKES ARREST IN FATAL SHOOTING
SUBJECT: Lakitha Marie Wiley, age 41, of 320 Rae Street, Lake City, SC was arrested on June 13, 2020 by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and charged with Manslaughter(first degree)(S.C.Code Ann.16-3-50) and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime (S.C. NARRATIVE: Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Lake City woman in the fatal shooting of a man in Lake City, S.C on June 13, 2020. According to Investigators, the incident arose out of a verbal and physical altercation between Lakitha Marie Wiley and the victim at a residence on Rae Street. Wiley is alleged to have shot the victim, with whom she had an intimate relationship, and fled the scene afterwards. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died a short time later.
Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken has identified the victim as 27 year old Jordan Stanford Spencer of Rae Street in Lake City, S.C. An autopsy has been scheduled at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.
Wiley is being held at the Florence County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
