The entire FCSO family is saddened by the death of Lt. Curt Summerford (ret.) earlier today. Curt served the citizens of Florence County with distinction for over 30 years in a variety of positions, most notably as the Organizer and supervisor of the FCSO Criminal Enforcement Unit, a nationally recognized narcotics interdiction Unit focusing on drug trafficking on major roadways in Florence County.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel at 2402 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the Palmetto Street Church of God located at 3132 West Palmetto Street, Florence, SC with burial at the Florence Memorial Gardens immediately following.
