FCSO Investigators Charge Criminal Sexual Conduct with Minor
SUBJECT:Benjamin Cameron, age 28, of 1016 Powell Circle, Turbeville, SC was arrested by Investigators with the Florence County Sheriff’s Office on June 23, 2014 and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Third Degree (S.C. NARRATIVE: Benjamin Cameron, age 28, of 1016 Powell Circle, Turbeville, SC was arrested on June 23, 2014 and charged with Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Third Degree. According to Investigators, between the dates of July 4, 2013 and August 15, 2013 Cameron is alleged to have committed a lewd act upon a 13 year old victim on Spigner Lane in Johnsonville, SC.
Under South Carolina law, Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Third Degree is a felony punishable by a fine in the discretion of the court or 15 years in prison, or both.
Cameron was released from the Florence County Detention Center on June 23, 2014 on a $10,000.00 surety bond.
